The Transparency International, Bangladesh (TIB) has published its report on the malfunctioning of democracy in the country. It has mentioned how the law makers spent very little time on legislative purpose and abstained from attending the parliament sessions. TIB has pointed out that there is no genuine opposition party in the current parliament and made 21 points recommendations to correct the situation. The government functionaires including the law Minister reacted angrily and dismissed the report as foreign inspired and an invitation to undemocratic forces.
